FAQs

Q: Why don’t you offer prints?
A: You’ll notice we offer solid colors in our line. Our thinking is that you can only wear a lime green suit with pink pineapples so many times before you’re tired of it and throw it away. Our desire is to create timeless men’s swim and active wear that will last.

Q: What do you mean by a tailored fit for a modern look?
A:
We mean that we have taken out all the bagginess from the design, especially in the leg opening. But, they are really stretchy so you will be comfortable.

Q: Where is the size chart?
A: Here you go. The boardshorts and elastic waist shorts are a tailored/modern  fit so you have massive thighs, you may need to go up a size.  If you have a question send us a note at support@olssaoutdoor.com.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Olssa Outdoor has a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at returns@olssaoutdoor.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return question at returns@olssaoutdoor.com.

Q: Where’s the scratchy mesh liner?
A: Our research shows half the guys like them and half cut them out (and we didn't want our liners in landfills). So, we offer the Reef Brief instead which offers maximum support along with quick drying and a far more comfortable experience than the mesh.

Q: What size Reef Brief do you recommend?
If you buy the same size as your boardshort or elastic waist short, they will fit snug. If you’d like a little more room, go up a size – don’t worry they won’t fall off.

Q: What is organic cotton and is it better than regular cotton?
A: Organic cotton is produced using 100% natural seeds without the use of pesticides or other harmful chemicals. Organic cotton products are softer than regular cotton because of its longer fibers also making it more durable. Unfortunately, organic cotton accounts for only 1-2% of global cotton production.

Q: Where are your shorts made?
A: They are made in Vietnam.

Q: What do you mean by active wear?
A: The elastic waist shorts are being worn for everything from pickleball, swimming, basketball and even a casual night out.

Q: Will the "big back pocket" fit my phone?
A: It easily fits an iPhone 11.

Q: How can I donate to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Ocean Conservancy or Save the Manatee?
A: Here is link to each non-profit:

Ocean Conservancy
Save the Manatee Club
